His grandma dies, the Pastor's wife when Waldo is about 14 years old Grandpa Kite comes for a visit. WAldo and his little brother Dennis are so excited.Mom lets Grandpa borrow her car and take the kids to the SDA Church while he visits. All too soon Grandpa leaves Hollywood where Waldo" Ken's" family lives.Walso not being a big fellow writes for the Hollywood High school paper and he meets Mickey, A Christian SDA. Mickey invites ken to church and after a few years Ken is baptized and goes in to teh service for 2 years. He comes home and goes to an SDA college La Sierra University in Riverside, California and meets and marries teh beautiful Jean Vendon. They go as missionaries to Thailand for 17 years and have 4 sons. This book is written by David Smith Ken's son.
