Finding God Through Sex: Awakening the One of Spirit Through the Two of Flesh

I have found Deida's books and workshops to be profoundly enlightening in discovering a deeper spiritual awareness through relationships and sex. In this book Deida uncovers the nuances that can create blocks in sexual intimacy and explains how to deepen a relationship and open sex to a new level of sacredness and spiritual depth. Not everybody is ready to look at sex at this level, but for those who are it is an insightful book that is written with much awareness and understanding that can take a couple to a deeper intimate connection and higher level of satisfaction.

If you are open and ready you will buy this book no matter what the review will say.. I can only tell you that this book made all the sense to me and directed me in the direction of open, honest, nonexpecting love that keeps growing and expanding.. get ready for amazing surprises.. Sensual and Alluring I bought this book b/c of reviews of Mr Deida's poetic ability to write of the subject of sex. I was looking for an understanding of the mystical union between men and women. Mr. Deida's book wrote of this union; his diction..... warm, wonderful and sweet. His writing allowed me to enter the mind of an `awakened', one who sees the union beyond the sensory perception of our flesh and mind. Finding God through Sex validated my experience of lovemaking as transcendent of the human condition, into the realm of spirit. I agree Mr Deida, through lovemaking, were are connected with God. This book is an easy read. Mr Deida's prose reminds me of Sourwood honey; sweet, sticky and full of nourishment....YUM. Romantics of life and spirituality..........read this book!

... then it should be this one. There are so many wisdoms packed in there, one of them being that, well, most adults have sex. Quite a few of them like it and even more would like to like it more, do it more, or enjoy it more. If, by doing this, you can happen upon a deeper meaning of life, and with that, your place in it, all the better. It doesn't get much more understandable, both God and Sex, than the way Deida talks to us about both.

I love the way Deida so eloquently conveys the art of experiancing God through sexual loving. The descriptions of specific senarios that come up while love making are poetic and beautifully writen. Deida's exceptional skill as a teacher is evident as he decribes workable, profound practices that allow lovers to maintain a heart conection -not only to each other but to the infinite- in the midst of the rough and tumble arena of sexual intimacy. I highly recomend his work -and for lovers- this book inparticular.
