Great book, well written, but the best part is it's understandability. This book is an excellent reference tool for the "soon to be retired". It will enable you to participate in meetings with financial planners without the fear of being steamrolled or having that deer in a headlights look. I was looking for a book that would truly be a "101" type of explanation of all of the ins and outs of stocks, mutual funds, IRA's, etc. and this book does an excellent job of doing just that. This book is perfect for those who have always been intimidated by the world of finances and money management but have a desire to understand all of the terminology, pros and cons, and options available to start successfully planning for your future. It's easy to read and understand and will make you say "SO THAT'S WHAT THAT MEANS!!!" over and over again!
