This is a 1998 book, but the principles are still solid. Although most of us don’t use a checkbook anymore, it’s not about the method we use to spend, but about what we spend it on, and how to get and keep things under control. I first heard Dave Ramsey on Sirius Satellite Radio. After that I was conviced to buy his book "Total Money Makeover" which I thought was great.
