Stupid humor can be some of the most entertaining and nothing sets the stupid bar lower than the "Spy vs. Spy" feature of "Mad Magazine." If you are familiar with the feature, then you will know what is in this book without knowing specifically what the "Black Spy" is doing to the "White Spy" and vice versa. The humor is based on the absurdity of the situation, as the two protagonists are determined to do the other in by whatever means necessary. There are no rules other than damage the other guy, so with the exception of their coloration, there is fundamentally no difference between the two spies. It is of course a spoof of the Cold War, where both sides overthrew governments they didn't like, had people assassinated and engaged in proxy wars where millions were killed. It was a very deadly game with the complete annihilation of the human race a possibility so reading "Spy vs. Spy" was a healthy diversion. Read and enjoy, just don't take it the slightest bit seriously.
