Great book!

This is a great book. Enjoyable and easy to read. This book offers great tips on fertility and some facts that may surprise you.

Great little book

Just recently started to try and get pregnant so I found this in the local library and brought it home. What a wonderful, easy to understand guide to getting pregnant. It is filled with tons of suggestions for what to avoid and what not to avoid while trying to conceive. There were also many statistics on things such as chances to conceive at different ages, how often women miscarry and chance of pregnancy afterwards. I finished it within a few hours while jotting down notes and learned a bunch! I think it's a must have for any one trying to start a family.

Very easy to read

Walking into the "pregnancy" section of my local bookstores was disappointing due to the lack of books available about getting pregnant. I snapped this up with its companion Fertility Journal: The Fertility Journal: A Day-to-Day Guide to Getting Pregnant. I'm so glad I did - I've never had an easier time reading an informational book! There are great tidbits in here, science facts, myth-busters, comforting thoughts, etc. The book is arranged in handy sections if you don't want to read it cover-to-cover. There is an entire section for men to read! I only have 2 small complaints about this book: repeated information and wasteful printing. If you do read the entire book, you'll notice a few things repeated - usually rephrased at least. I think this is because of the different sections, as some info works in multiple areas of the book. Then there is the actual size of the book - there is no reason why this book couldn't be half the size. Each blurb gets its own page, no matter how short, and the print is also very large. I assume this is for ease in readability, but I really think its unnecessary given the clear and simple wording. I would recommend the publisher shrink it down and bundle it with their Fertility Journal.

Lots of info, easy read

I made notes and marked pages with sticky notes. This book was an easy read. Lots of great info, not bogged down with medical terms or large chapters. Going to the doctor today, using info from book to help me get the best result possible.

A great tool with plenty of inspiration

It is no secret that for some time now I have had some cyclic and infertility issues. One day, DH and I were in Target and I bought a copy of a really cute journal The Fertility Journal. As I started using it, I started researching the people who made it available Conceive Online Magazine via Chronicle Books. While I was looking around I discovered "Fertility Facts" and immediately started searching for a copy to read for myself, and boy am I glad that I did. "Fertility Facts" has been such a warm and fuzzy blessing during a fairly depressing time. Whether you have known fertility issues or are just considering trying for pregnancy it is a fabulous tool. With over 300 pages of facts and vocabulary and easy to understand information you can pore over this book for hours soaking in all the information. The facts are written with a personality and there are plenty of giggles as well as "oh, really??" reactions. This is a book that I plan to keep on my shelf into the future and share with anyone who might even have an inkling to read it. I highly recommend it for every woman of child bearing years as well as any man going on the journey with her, as there is a chapter just for them. Go get yourself a copy and while you're at it check out the magazine too. It is all quite the blessing. Plus it's pretty. *grin*
