The book covers the digestive system, feeds & feeders, feeding habits, digestibility and quality of feeds, hints, do's & don'ts, grazing management, specialized diets, growing horses needs, race horses, jumpers, endurance horses, polo ponies, show horses, pleasure horses, breeding horses, problems related to feeding, and TONS OF TABLES including minerals, vitamins, electrolytes, and monitoring feces and urine output. Every horse owner should have this book on their shelf!

This book is great for everyone--from the beginning horse owner to the veteran. The graphs and tables are packed with information and easy to understand, and the book has helpful hints outlined. I now feel that I have a good basis on equine nutrition.
