When I say that I really loved this book. I really do mean it! This book had me on edge from the start and it didn't stop until the very last page. I have read all of Franklin White's books and although they are all different they are all very good. I like the fact that he doesn't have one writing style. He is able to write books that make you think, keep you entertained and make you want more. This book was full of so much drama that every time I turned the page something else would jump out and grab me. The scary thing about it all though is, these people in this book remind me so much of the people I have in my life! My bestfriend could be Kelly, and my sisters and mother remind me so much of Kahlil's family plus I know of a few men who are as compasionate as Kahlil. They don't have enough stars to rate this book! IT SHOULD BE A TEN. PLEASE BELIEVE IT AND READ IT!

This book is a definite page-turner. This book set on my shelf for months because I did not think it was going to be a fulfilling read. WRONG! Once I picked it up, I literally couldn't put it down. The one time I did put it down, it was too sleep. Franklin White has a superb writing style. You see the story through all of the character's eyes. You never know what will happen next. Just when you think things couldn't get more dramatic, you turn the page, and alas another episode of Y & R. Drama, drama and more drama! Though I do not think this is "the male version of Waiting to Exhale," I do think it is written in response to all the "male-bashing" books. Females have issues too!! A must read.

THE BOOK WAS EXCELLENT! I WOULD GIVE IT 10 STARS IF I COULD. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS. HE IS UP THERE WITH LOLITA FILES, ERIC JEROME DICKEY AND E LYNN HARRIS. THE BOOK WAS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND I ENJOYED IT. I ALSO READ " CUP OF LOVE" AND IT WAS ALSO A GOOD BOOK. I CANT WAIT TO READ HIS NEWEST NOVEL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MR WHITE.

After reading Cup of Love I thought I would run out and buy Fanny and I think this too was an excellent book. The author is a great writer-these books are completely different-in terms of characters, content and plot. Franklin White is on to something and I really enjoyed the freindship between Cecee and Kelly. That was true to life-I know I've been there. The ending really was a shock and I have to admit I did shed tears when I found out the entire situation. I will keep buying future works from Franklin White and I'm very positive that he is going to be a great writer. He's proved for me in both books!
Fed Up With the Fanny

I'm presently reading this novel and I love it! I believe that it should be made into a movie ( I would definately go to see it). Franklin White has a way to express the different views of all of his characters (male/female/young/older) with such ease. To top it all off the book started out good and there was never a dull moment.
