This is a great book, I highly recommend people 12 and over to read this book. It is about a girl named Gaia that gets beat from her stepmother and she is dealing with many problems. Her stepmother makes her clean until everything is sparkling. Then Gaia finally finds a way to get rid of her. I hope that this review will make you want to by this book or one of the series.
FINALLY!!!!

Finally salvation has come.Fear was definitely a breath of fresh air from the past few books where we are subjected to Gaia's constant droning about insignificant things such as the fact that she knows water boils at 212 degrees fahrenheit and that her life reminds her of a scene from Moby Dick. Wow...I'm mesmerized.Heahter has gone nuts thanks to the fear serum causing Josh to wallow in his misery because he knows he's screwed up big time. The fact that he has screwed up is even more deeply thrust into his brain when the lab animals who took the fearless serum start to die. Josh now knows that if he doesn't do something soon Heahter will be the next to go. Can he save her?Gaia and Tatina are now working together to stop Loki permanently. But things take a darker turn for them when Loki captures Tom and Natasha. Will they get out alive?Ed finally clears the air with Tatiana telling her Gaia is the only women for him. And Tatiana recipricates with a moving speech about how she is not going to be Ed's second string girl. Not only that but Ed starts to walk again. And there is a touching scene where he almost runs Gaia over with his skateboard. Ahh finally our salvation has come. It finally looks as though things will come together the way we've been hoping.

Gaia and Tatiana are finally working togther to stop Loki once and for all. But it may be too late for Loki has already captured Tom and Natasha, and it looks like they aren't gonna get out alive...Ed is finally walking again, and it was great to finally see him get on a skateboard again, quite touching. Ed has finally rejected Tatiana, knowing that the only girl he ever wants to be with is Gaia, who still thinks he is the worst person on Earth. Little does he know all the inner turmoil going on in Gaia's world...Heather is finally fearless, like Gaia. She thinks it is the best thing to happen to her, but soon things don't go as they are suppose to. Suddenly she is having blackouts, can't remember where she was, or what she did. In other words, Heather knows she is going crazy...Josh regreted his decision of giving the fearless serum to Heather more than anything and when the lab animals all start dying he knows Heather could very well be the next. So he does the one thing he could ever do for the woman he loves, except the stakes are high and he know he will pay with his life...Wow, this was a definite improvement on the recent fearless books. Definitely this story arc is coming to an end and the cliffhanger ending starts a whole new story arc which is defintely going to bring its ups and downs. I can't wait for the next edition Betrayed. This ending to this book was so unexpected it caught me by total surprise but will definitely bring more interesting plots in the next few editions. This book definitely brought back some excitement in the series!
Better Than Expected

In this next installment, Fear started out overly entertaining opposed to other openings of Fearless where we are usually subjected to Pascal's gratuitous drone while she describes something as insignificant as the grass outside. Or the repetitiveness of the previous book beings to echo within the second or third chapter before the new plot even develops. Heather goes crazy. Ed, now walking fully upright finally tells Tatiana that Gaia's THE one, yet still wants to be friends. Tatiana delivers a powerfully inspiring statement that she is nobody's backup girl, and has to be first choice or no beans. Tom and Natasha still battle in the Islands. Tatiana and Gaia go spy hunting. Lastly, Gaia pushes Ed away one more time with at least some glimmer of hope for the truth in the future instead of dragging on his assumptions that she is a heinous kung-fu-barbie, never to indulge him in the real reasons of her absurd actions. I hope that in #23 Betrayed, poor Ed with be brought into the light. I noticed that Pascal focused more on covering other character's point of views than just mainly Gaia's, which was a relief. And because we weren't reminded so many times that Gaia's a bubble girl with a missing father and Ed is the pitfall of her poignant, cursed life this can scrape by with 4 stars.
