Very funny!

Hilarious (and often viciously unkind) caricatures, satirical prints and scathing commentary combine in these reproductions of Gillray's art. This is also a peek into the mores of those times. One quibble: I DO wish those who reproduce these prints for our edification would transcribe the "word balloons"!!! Even with a magnifying glass, they are often hard to read-- and rhus the main point of the joke may be lost!!
