Fashion for Weddings I

I ran into this book while I was looking for a book on basic wedding planning. Though I was completely unexcited at the prospect of looking for a dress - after looking at a few bridal magazines and seeing all the fluffy, cake-frosting type of dresses, I just wanted a bleached, white burlap sack! - but this book has beautiful photographs of graceful dresses with unusual lines and details which are quite stunning. The timeless classic wedding gowns are also included for those who are looking to have a more classic bridal image. The material, embellishments, as well as the color of the gowns are often noted by the author. Overall, I thought this book was spectacular, the images in this book has turned the search for the wedding gown from a chore to a designing and searching pleasure! I recommend it to anyone who is starting to look for a bridal gown, wishes to design one themselves, enjoys beautifully designed and executed gowns, and/or just likes beautiful photographs
