My daughter is loving touchy-feely books these days and this one has multiple things to touch on each page. The pictures are great, with lots to look at.

Although this board book doesn't have very many pages, it makes up for it with the number of touchy-feely items per page (at least 4-5 per page) and the variety of textures (wooly, fleecy, mesh, bumpy cardboard, ribbed plastic, felt, silky, scratchy/velcro, etc.). All are high quality and integrate well into the book. There are also no flaps so it is essentially toddler-proof (i.e. you can let them play with it and you're pretty much guaranteed that they can't destroy it). It also get big points at our house for not having too many words and for being just as entertaining for independent play as for storytime. Great book!
