Fanny Crosby Still Lives

I truly enjoyed reading this book about Fanny Crosby. I learned much about this wonderful writer who has influenced so much of our Christian music hymns. Darlene Neptune did a fine job of researching and making Fanny Crosby come alive in her book. I would recommend this book very highly.

I HAVE KNOWN DARLENE NEPTUNE FOR MANY YEARS AND LOOKED FORWARD TO DISCUSSING THIS BOOK WITH HER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AS SHE WAS WRITING IT. I KNOW DARLENE WORKED VERY HARD TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE IN PRESENTING FANNY CROSBY TO US. SHE OVERCAME MANY OBSTACLES AND HINDRANCES IN PUTTING THIS BOOK TOGETHER. DARLENE IS A GOD-FEARING LADY WHO ONLY SEEKS TO PRESENT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR TO OTHERS. YOU CAN TRUST HER WORK COMPLETELY. GREAT BOOK.

I have had a passion for Fanny Crosby and her music since childhood, which is how we got to know Darlene Neptune. At her presentation, we felt we were actually watching Aunt Fanny! Darlene has put many years of research into her work, and has visited the Crosby house and gravesite. I have read other material on Ms. Crosby, and Ms. Neptune's is consistent. Ms. Crosby's family has also shown their support for Ms. Neptune's work. Darlene has put her life in God's hands and has let Him lead in her work. One only has to watch her presentation to see this. I give her book 5 stars, and I give Darlene 5 stars, also!
