In this instant #1 London Times bestseller, the author of Farm Fatale andSimply Divine returns with a hilarious romp through the world of celebrity.352 pp.
I really enjoyed this book, after getting into the rhythm of the writing style that is, and could not put it down! It was dragged to the kitchen while I cooked, to the couch while I sat and to bed before I went to sleep. It was a very enjoyable read, not too heavy, with someone fun to hate and someone to root for. I was sorry when it ended............

"Gossip Hound" is fabulous Chick Lit -- no, not the gum but smart and sassy reading fare for 20, 30, 40-something women. A quick read full of names from "People," friends that could come from "Friends" and bedroom escapades that could grace the pages of "Cosmo."Ladies: Take this one to the beach, to the gym, on the train to work each day. Guaranteed to make you giggle.

I couldn't disagree more with the reviewer who said this book was uninteresting. I read it in 2 days, could barely put it down to go to the grocery store when I noticed I was out of milk. As far as the choking of the little dog - it is funny (and I'm a dog lover), especially when he gets thrown in the gazpacho because he throws up in Belinda's (tabloid journalist) Prada purse. This book has humor, romance, even a seafood laden fight between half-naked women over a naked movie star! I loved Bridget, loved Jemima J, now I love Grace just as much. For all fans of "chick lit", british humor, or just a good read to take your mind off things for a while - I highly recommend Gossip Hound.
Another great read from my favorite British author!

Wendy Holden has been my favorite since I read Bad Heir Day, and I've now read all of her books. Gossip Hound is just as funny and lighthearted as the rest of them, I'm happy to report. The characters are interesting and I loved the mean and nasty Belinda Black most of all. You can't go wrong with Wendy Holden, so if you're wondering whether this book is worth buying, I say YES!!
