Falun Buddha Law (Essentials for Further Advances)

I am a PHD student and started to practice Falun Gong many years ago. For me, Falun Gong is a good way of life. The first book I read, China Falun Gong, concisely asserts many fundamental principles regarding the way the universe works and briefly illustrates the basic five sets of movements and their accompanied principles. If you want, you may practice the five sets of movements by yourself because the explanation of the movements is very clear with pictures in China Falun Gong. Anyway, China Falun Gong is not very long but is the first book, which is recommended to start in order to understand and practice Falun Gong. Another book I read, Zhuan Falun, further elaborates the true meanings of life-truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance. Because it is a record of a typical nine-day-program previously delivered by Master Li around world, it is easy to read and understand. Fundamental concepts of Falun Gong are explained in an understandable manner. The book I recently read, titled Essentials for Further Advances, is related to China Falun Gong and Zhuan Falun which Falun Gong practitioners are recommended to read all the time. This book is really helpful in terms of its benefits for those who would like to be morally and physically better people because it offers further insights regarding the cosmic principles of truthfulness, benevolence and forbearance and provides ideas on how to enhance the Falun Gong practice.

Two thrums up! For serious seeker of life, truth -- and yourself!! Read the whole book.You are going to apprecite this book very much if you have read other books about Qi-Gong, Mediation, spiritual self-improvment... This book is simplely the best of all.

After reading Zhuan Falun several times, it is very helpful to get this book. The short articles on each specific topics lay out in depth teaching. This is THE book one should read often. I have read it for six times by now. Each time I read, there are new doors opened for me. It provides more direct guidance for cultivation. In addition, you may see the history of Falun Dafa from the book.

China Falun Gong is a serene and peaceful force for good it offers, entirely without interest in religious, political and money-making activities. It is indeed helping people to become morally and physically better people. I am deeply thankful for this book and for what received, as a way of life, to guide my lives from now onwards, Falun Gong is non-sectarian, it demands no membership, no promises, and no money from us, it leaves us entirely free to follow our inner voice and this leads in turn to the highest and most noble form of behavior. For this gift I shall always be grateful. Truth is like the sun, it will never be covered by clouds.

This book serves as excellent reinforcement to Mr. Li's main text, _Zhuan Falun_. It includes lots of short articles which were written to help Falun Dafa practitioners understand certain issues, or to further explain something from _Zhuan Falun_. This is absolutly wonderful compilation of articles deals with a wide range of topics; giving us insight into the true nature of the universe, a correct understanding of truthfullness, what a sincerely compassionate heart is, and why we should forbare the hardest hardships with a smile. Because it is written in modern language it is very easy to understand, but the meanings behind the words are very profound and enlightening.In order to get a deeper meaning of this book I highly reccomend that one first reads _Zhuan Falun_.
