Wanted it to be good

Honestly I wanted this book to be good and I gave it until halfway and it still was not what I was hoping for. The concept is different and new but overall a boring book. I did end up finishing the entire thing but I would not recommend this book.

Good series slow book

This book series as a whole is great in my opinion, but the books by themselves isn't as strong. The author holds secrets and plot twists until the end or nearly the end of the series so if you're looking for almost 2000 pages of something to read I recommend this series!

Might re-buy

A good book it’s a step into something more. A nice lead into an addictive series.

This is my new favorite book series!

This books are captivating! I bought this whole series and read them all within a few weeks. I highly recommend if you like the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, or any other fantasy romance.

Terrible

I bought this book after reading all good reviews and absolutely hated it. The plot and characters were terribly unrealistic. I couldn't even finish the book. Don't waste your time.

Embarking on a wondourous journey.

What makes me curious about reading a book is how enthralled and entertained one can be when reading it. From the very first page, I thought this book was downright sensational.

Bought it for a cheesy read and love at first flight

Buy this. I mean it. Buy it.

It was alright, could have been better.

It has potential, but in the end the book was a little immature (even for a YA series) and disappointed me. I saw the movie, and I was surprised to say that the movie is way better than the book.

Irritating

based on the reviews of this book, I bought it and read it and felt irritated the whole time reading it. this girl, Luce, is one of the most irritating, whiny, spoiled little heroines I have ever come across. she does nothing for herself, takes no control or ownership for her situation, just feels sorry for herself and walks around in a daze waiting for Daniel to save her. give me a break! how the hell can this character inspire an "angel" to fall for her? I really did not like this book

Thrilling, Romantic And Great

I am a fan of books like this, I first saw the movie and I admire it, but it just makes me, to want more and read the books. This is 5 stars for me and I hope they will make the movie sequel even better.

I didn't like how it ended

The book was okay. It just really irritated me how it ended. I didn't like the way she was treated by the guy. It all very much irritated me. But it was still an okay book. Everyone has a different opinion. My friend recommended this book to me but i wasn't impressed.

Best Series Ever!!

Love love love this book and the whole series! Luce and Daniels story is amazingly wonderful ! There is no love story that even comes close!

Better than the rest

I was very excited to begin reading this book and had ignored the description of the book, wanting to be surprised with what the story was about. I didn't want to know what the fantasy element was in the book and it took more than half of the book for anything to truly be discovered. I just wanted to read something that was really, really good and Fallen delivered. The students at Sword & Cross are all intriguing and memorable; there wasn't one throw away or wasted character in the book. Everyone has their place and nothing is written just for filler. Every little thing that happens in the book matters in some way. It is Luce's story, but some of the characters, Arriane for example, steal the show nearly anytime they are involved. I loved Arriane, couldn't get enough of her off-kilter ways. Luce is a wonderful character as well, just more level headed. While Luce has been through a lot, you don't feel the need to pity her and she wouldn't want you to. Fallen is not a book to get lost in the plethora of fantasy novels in the young adult market. It is a stand out all its own because Lauren Kate took the time to create real characters that didn't feel stagnant or one dimensional. This is a book I can see turning into a movie series and people will want to go for the characters, the fantasy element being a wonderfully added bonus.

Great Build Up

The build up to the romance for this book was great. I discussed this book on my blog, and somepeople wanted the romance to come on faster, BUT, in my opinion, I like the slow mystery of finding out what's really happening. Not al all boring, and I mean it when I say that. Often I find myself skipping pages if I get bored, and I didn't skip and inch of this book. Stayed up all night to finish it. Looking forwart to Torment...

... Then An Angel Fell For A Mortal!

In the beginning he would search for her, when he didn't find her she would find him. In every life they would come together only to be torn apart. They were in love. They were domed. Time and time again he would lose her, and she would die. Time and time again he would remember and she would forget. It was always the same. Until now... Ever since she can remember, Lucinda has seen things no one else can. Shadows. Luce had always feared them, but they had always kept their distance. Until the day they got too close and took a life. After the 'accident' things changed. People looked at her differently, with fear, even her parents. And Lucinda was sent away. Stepping through the gates of Sword & Cross was like stepping into another world. On her first day at reform school Luce met a boy. He was cold and aloof, but somehow mesmerising. Was she crazy or had they met before? But no matter how many times he told her she was, she was sure she was not crazy. Fallen is the story of an age old battle, one that has been reining since the beginning of time, one that will last to the end. The fate of all eternal souls rests in the hands of a pair of star-crossed-lovers. And Lucinda and Daniel are as domed and as much in love as Romeo and Juliet. Natural and flowing language guides Lucinda through a new and thrilling world, where the only thing that's more important than survival is love. For all those who have had enough of vampires, now there are angels. And waiting for what happens next will be Torment.

simply amazing.

I bought this book last night, and finished it this morning.. I couldnt even put it down for one second. Lauren Kate did an amazing job and i cant wait for the next one. oh september, please come soon. :]

Fallen was an amazing read!!

I was very impressed with this book! I love a good fantasy - but it's hard to find one that is intriguing from start to finish, this one definately was! I couldn't put it down until I was finished - and she did not disappoint at the end like so many books do! I can't wait for the next one to come out!
