Very well done! A good read that is imformative and insightful: exactly what one would expect from Spurgeon. The small format is handy for sticking it in your pocket and makes it convenient to read.

In a day wherein faith is seemingly perceived quantitatively by much of the "Christian culture," it is good to read from a man proven to be of God that faith is indeed qualitative. Charles H. Spurgeon wrote this book that the minds and hearts of believers in Christ might be fixated upon the author and perfector of their faith (Jesus Christ Himself). Every page within this small treatise on the doctrine of faith in the Christian life bleeds the message of Christ's redemption for His people. Spurgeon does well to remind us that it is not the measure of faith that we ought look upon, nor the growth as provided by God through His word and the washing of His Spirit, but the very fact that Christ has come to pay the penalty for sinners and that we are indeed those sinners. My recommendation is that you read this book prayerfully, with thoughtful analysis and meditation (I plan on reading it again). The gospel of Jesus Christ is liberating and is provided liberally, it is a message that is relevant to the world; a message that many have diluted or confused through unorthodox teaching. This book is not a pamphlet on getting what you want, but getting what you need found in the complete sufficiency of Christ. It is a study in Christology wherein we may agree with Paul that it is not how much we believe, or how long we have believed that warrants salvation, but the object of our faith whom has given us the privilege of eternal life (2 Timothy 1:12)."...the child of God does fall into sin.
