FRANK ROBINSON FORMER MLB SUPERSTAR DOES A NICE JOB TELLING US ABOUT HIS CAREER IN BASEBALL. WE REALLY DON'T GET A LOOK AT HIS LIFE OFF THE FIELD. ROBBY GIVES ALOT OF INTERESTING STORIES AND EXPERIENCES HE GOT OUT OF HIS LONG AND SUCESSFUL CAREEER. HE DOES NOT GO INTO A GREAT AMOUNT OF DETAIL OF GAME ACTION OR SEASON TO SEASON ASPECT AS A PLAYER. WHEN HE BECAME A MANAGER HE GETS MORE DETAILED ON HIS RELATIONSHIPS WITH PLAYERS HE MANAGED IN CLEVELAND AND SAN FRANCISCO. HE SPENDS ALOT OF TIME BITCHING AND MOANING ABOUT THE LACK OF BLACKS IN MANAGER AND FRONT OFFICE JOBS WHICH HAS GOTTEN BETTER AS YEARS WENT ON. ROBBY WAS A GREAT PLAYER AND HAS A VERY BIG EGO AND A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER. AS A PLAYER HE WAS GREAT, AS A PERSON HE HAS GOTTEN BETTER. I LIKED THIS BOOK AND RECOMMEND IT FOR ALL BASEBALL FANS.
