What's for supper? Dog jumps for sausages. Monkey swings for bananas. And, in a lift-the-flap surprise, Cat looks for some milk in the fridge. Kids can enjoy supper with some new friends. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I had to special-order, "Everyone's Hungry" for my 6 month old, but it was well worth it. It is her favorite book. My eldest daughter could not get enough of Ed Vere's bold illustrations in "Can You Hop?" and "Can You Sing" (written by Lisa Lawston). I was so excited to find new Ed Vere books for my second child (I have purchased "Everyone's Hungry" and "Everyone's Sleepy"). Ed Vere is one of the few writers/illustrators that "gets it right" in regard to board books for very young children. His illustrations are bright, colorful, and simple (AND adorable). The storyline is short and age appropriate. I get disgusted with so many books marketed for babies, that are really preschool plus aged books condensed into board book form. They have highly detailed illustrations and WAY too many words on each page. My child crawls off after the first few pages. But Ed Vere's books have held both of my kids' interest for several readings in a single session. The construction of this book is TOP NOTCH, too. The pages are twice as thick as any other books we have.
