At last someone is willing to articulate a solution to our nation's gun madness that will work: ban handguns. Why has this common sense approach fallen off the radar screen of public debate in the last 25 years? Sugarmann lays out the case for a handgun ban in a concise, accessible way. It's simply the only solution that will prevent future Columbines and Santees. The title says is all. Every Handgun is Aimed at You is a must read for anyone who cares about the future of this gun-obsessed country.

I borrowed the book from the local library, with a real request to "lose it". I will tell you that I've never had a harder time trying to follow such "logic" as is represented here. Each quote, statistic, and "fact" that I reviewed for myself from the stated footnotes turned up nothing but false and "creative" writings on Sugarman's behalf. I've heard (and understand) the principle of "fuzzy logic" as it pertains to computers but I did have a hard time with the "fuzzy math" outlined within the pages of this book. I gave the book 5 stars; not for factual aspects (which I've yet still to find) but due to the great job it's doing lining my birds cage. I feel sorry for the many trees that had to die to print the book. It's not only a waste of money at regular price; it's a double waste of money at it's reduced price.
