This volume is divided into four main sections: using herbs for common ailments; a directory of herbs and healing plants; making and buying natural remedies; and growing and storing herbs. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is simple in its presentation. It not only provides reference to herbal medicines, but also to the use of food as a medicine. It's not what I would recommend for a serious medical practitioner or herbalist, but it's the type of thing that is handy to have around for the average person. Doses and recommended forms of preparation and ingestion are included, but there is not enough in the way of warnings or interactions.
