My boyfriend and I both have this book and it has helped us to grow as a couple. We have grown closer and opened the door to deeper understanding. We understand each other more than ever and appreciated one another.

The first, second, and last chapters of this book are great. The middle part is interesting, but one can take or leave it. Fr. Powell starts by speaking of love, and the problem of lack of love. This is a great book to aid one in their ability to love. Love is the most powerful, most healing, and simply the greatest thing in the world. This book is simply a great way to be able to spread the great love that we all have the potential to have.

Don't forget the S.J.!!! John Powell has the incredible ability to help you work through your fears of rejection and the indifference you feel s a result of these fears.A complete masterpiece now I need the library!!!!!!

This book really helps you look into yourself and examine what you are afraid of and how to overcome it. This book is wonderful for people who have trouble letting their walls down and really loving others (as well as themselves). This book is also useful for people who don't think they have that problem. I highly recomend this book to everyone. It's one to keep and re-read as you grow and mature in life.
