Essays on Earl Renfroe: A Man of Firsts

Dr. Earl Renfroe graduated first in his class at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, was the first Black orthodontist to practice in Chicago's Loop, the first Black department head at the UIC College of Dentistry, the first Black commercial pilot in Illinois, and a military commander. He was an important figure in Chicago, Illinois, and dental history, and this book should be read by everyone in the dental field and by Chicago history buffs.
