keeping ourselves open and continuously discovering the many aspects of our partner is what keeps love alive and that is what this book is about.many times we like to pigeonhole people and think of them in fixed terms therefore making it difficult to know them more and more.I loved this book.

Love and sexuality as the foundation of human reality

In Eros, Love & Sexuality: The Forces That Unify Man And Woman, the late Dr. John Pierrakos drew upon his more than fifty years of professional experience and expertise to provide the reader with a succinct summation of what he had learned in the body/mind therapy movement which had so deeply affected the discipline of psychotherapy in the last half-century. Basically, this was the realization that eros, love and sexuality are the foundation of human reality. They flow through the entire being of men and women, and provide a source of energy and pleasure that drive much of the human experience, accomplishment, and dysfunction in the world today. Eros is a unique experience, a kind of bridge connecting sexuality and love. Eros must be continually rekindled because it is meteoric in nature, quick to flame and just as quick to flame out. It is rekindled through self-revelation as we disclose ever deeper and more central truths about our selves, as well "open our souls" to those we love. Erose, Love & Sexuality is a highly recommended and welcome addition to psychotherapeutic literature and especially recommended to the non-specialist general reader with an interest in human psychology and the mind/body connection.
