It doesn't matter if you're Ernie Els or just a weekend player; everybody who plays golf wants to play better. But taking lessons and putting in hours of practice aren't the only ways to improve your game. You need to be in shape to play your best. In fact, the right fitness routine can mean more to your game than tinkering with new swing techniques or purchasing the most expensive equipment. And you don't have to be David Duval, Tiger Woods, or Ernie...

Ernie Els' Guide to Golf Fitness

As the owner of a national exercise and rehabilitation equipment company and after reading this book I give this book a 5 star rating. From the first page I realized how easy it is to follow and implement into my life. This book not only addresses excellent protocols to increase driving power, add touch, and reduce injuries, but explains WHY the exercises are done! So, if you know you weakness, or already have low back, or shoulder pain (most common), then, this book is for you! This book makes it much easier to address your weakness and then turn around and get the results your looking for out on the golf course! The key to a successful book is the results the reader gets out of it! My hats off to the team who put this one together!Allen Woodruff President & CEO of Synergy Therapeutic Systems

Wow!

I have never written a review for a book, but I was completely impressed by this book, I decided to buy another one for my boss... Personally, I've probably purchased or read at least a dozen fitness books, and I've never found one that had so much credibility (David Herman and Ernie Els), or had the exercises so clear in how to do them as well as their benefits. But the best part was their direct relation to the golfer, who so frequently isn't even thought of as an athlete! Anyway, for what it's worth - this book is awesome well worth the price!

Great Father's Day gift

Gave the book to my dad for father's day yesterday and he didn't put it down until it was through. I think that golfer's appreciate a book that sets realistic fitness goals without having to devote 2 hours a day. I'm glad my father finally has a fitness routine he can relate to.

The Best Fitness Book Ever Read

I play tennis, golf and squash. You can use this book for either sport. And pictures? Awesome. It's all right there for you.

Amazing Book!

This is by far the best and most helpful book about golf fitness I have read. The exercises are well chosen and clearly demonstrated and the concepts are fully explained. I love to think that I can help my game by going to the gym for half an hour a couple of times a week. One reviwer complained about the nutrition section. While they may not be nutrition experts, they are fitness experts. And that's why I bought the book! A hole in one.
