The Monsters of Otherness

Erec is going to be a great king. and this book was one of the best with action and suspense at every turn. can't wait for the next one. One if my favorite book series.

"Erec Rex: the Monsters of Otherness" by Kaza Kingsley This book is an empowering original created by the crafty genius of Kaza Kingsley. A few times i was reminded of Harry Potter but this story is unique, Kaza Kingsley is a wordsmith so don't go in expecting J.K.Rawlings, they are both amazing but VERY different. "The Monster's of Otherness" can 'stand alone' but is delicious sequel to "Erec Rex: The Dragon's Eye". This book is basically about adoption and acceptance that just keeps getting better and better as you read. Erec, in this book, fights to save the lives of 50 dragon hatchlings on his quest to find his true identity. Erec Rex journeys forth in the second of Kaza Kingsley's great novels. FIND OUT who the REAL monsters are!!! If Erec doesn't succeed he may become a far worse villian than his enemies! Will Erec Rex find out more about his past or will learning trust and honesty in his friendships stand in his way? The ultimate question is CAN Erec figure out who he is in time to fulfill his inevitable destiny? It's time to fall in LOVE with Kaza Kingsley. She is writing for future generations and truely her books inspire and will stand up as "Classic Literature" against time. One of my favorite parts is when Erec is searching to buy his memory back. Here are a few brief exerpts from when he meets a 'memory mogul': "It was not easy finding the Memory Mogul's shop. Most of the people Erec asked simply glared at him and turned up their noses. Finally a blind woman told him the store was near the edge of town,"... "Inside the store,"... "A small,spindly man hunched over the counter. His wild white hair and beard projected from all angles of his face, making him look like a dandylion gone to seed."... "What do you sell here?"...(Erec asked the man) "The man looked indignant. "Memory chips, of course. Splices. I cut, I take out, I add in. Anything can be altered." He coughed."... "It's hard to resist trying out some of the memories I get in here, especially the more exciting ones. Of course they can mess with your own memory if you're not careful. Another home run from Kingsley. This is another great book in the Erec Rex series. Perfect for holiday gifts.

Erec Rex and the Monsters of Otherness was well worth the wait. It was faster and better written then the first one with way more action. At the beginning of the book Erec is forced to return to Alypium so that Balor and company don't become the new kings. He is has to compete against them in the quests to become King all while trying to figure out exactly what is going on and why everyone hates him. Much better then the first and a must read for fantasy lovers.

Erec Rex and the Monsters of Otherness is AMAZING!!! Absolutely stupendous! The plot thickens with every turn. I don't want to ruin the book for you but I will say that with every page read, and every dilemma solved another even more interesting mystery is created in its place. This causes the reader to be sucked into the world of Apium. A world where clouds like snacks are a regular dish, everyone has a magical ability, and a cloud of mystery awaits our hero Erec at every turn. This book will have you glued to your seat until the inevitable end, which will leave you anxiously awaiting the third installment in the series. This book will be compared to Harry Potter, The Lightning Thief, The Nightmare Academy and so many other outstanding books it becomes so much more. Kara Kingsley creates a brand new world, different than anything ever seen before. Colorful imagery, enchanting descriptions, and lovable characters will lead this book to great success. My advice is to get it as soon as it comes out!
