This book has a whole lot of information on T1/2/3 multiplexing hierarchy, frame formats (ESF / SF for T1 and the M3 formats). Finding all this information in one book is very difficult, speaking from my experience. A useful book for anyone wanting to read up on PDH multiplexing hierarchy, but some amount of background knowledge will come in handy.
