Over six years have passed since Liana and Guthrie's divorce. Guthrie's cruel emotional abuse that caused Liana to flee him still hasn't stopped. He continues his cruel mind games and his attempts to alienate their six children from Liana. Through false allegations and using the legal system he is trying to put Liana into prison. Guthrie has gained temporary custody and Liana fears she will never see her children again. All of the custody and criminal proceedings have taken a financial toll on the family. The emotional abuse is also taking its toll on both the children and on Liana. Two of the children are having suicidal thoughts. The three oldest children are almost totally alienated from their mother. Liana isn't sure if she wants to continue living without her children in her life. Guthrie continues to feed the children and anyone else who will listen that Liana is a crazy, dangerous drug user; an unfit mother. Liana is left fearing prison and fearing for her children who are left in the hands of a neglectful, controlling and emotionally abusive father. God seems far away and Liana almost completely loses hope.
