I really enjoyed this frothy, fun Regency. It was perfect. Loved the characters and the story. Not a cat lover but this comedic, nasty cat was another perfect element. This is going on my Keeper Shelf for alleviating any future "rainy days that get me down."
Not just another romance novel...

This book was incredibly entertaining. I picked it up and started flipping through the pages a few weeks ago when I was bored, expecting nothing but a boring rehash of the typical romance novel stuff. However, I was surprised and amazed at the complexity of Ms. Ward's characters and their likeness to reality. She certainly knows how to capture the reader's mind. I couldn't put the book down! From the moment Cecily and her cat Archimedes arrived in Dorset, to the time she and the foppish Lord Brandon went in search of a new cook, to the smugglers, etc. etc. etc. this book is a definite reccomendation of mine. If you can, pick up a copy and read it. You won't be disappointed. I was thoroughly "enchanted".Love,Joshie
