Pretty good story

I don't know how anyone could actually give this book one star, it's much better than that. This is the second book I've read in the Leo Haggerty series and enjoyed both of them. I already have several others in the series and am sure they will be enjoyable too.
Well-written PI novel, beginning of an excellent series

The writing is terse. The action is smoothly paced and well portrayed. The main character, Leo Haggerty, has at least the requisite number of foibles...with lots of room to develop through the series (which he does). A compelling story of a hunt, a battle against vicious evil.
