Elmo is excited about his very first babysitter coming over to stay with him through the evening. Illustrations. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I've been so disappointed in many character books. This one far supercedes my expectations. It tells a story that is obvious from the title. Yet it acknowledges on every turn of the page what a child goes through when having a babysitter -- wanting mom and dad to be home. Emily, the babysitter, handles each step with realistic grace, easing Elmo's fears. My 15-month old wants to read it again and again, and I don't mind at all. The illustrations alone keep me interested. And for [item price], I'm buying up copies for all our kid friends. Enjoy!
