An enjoyable read

I really enjoyed reading this book. The writing was clear and crisp. I also enjoyed that Gary Kapochek was a nice guy and this duo team didn't try to make him out as the bad boyfriend. It was a smart move to make Gary a nice guy and simply that Gary and Eve were not the right match. This was an excellent romantic suspense novel. I highly recommend it.

a comparison to other authors

The very talented pair of the Lynn Erickson writing team once again deliver a thrilling read. They carefully balance exciting mystery with compelling relationships and once again deliver a winner. -Debbie Richardson Romantic Times Review

New author for me, but loved this book

This is the first book I have read by Lynn Erickson, but will not be the last, I was hopelessly in love with Jack from the first page, I have already loaned this book to a friend, but hope I get it back. I will reread it.

A PAGE TURNER !

LYNN ERICKSON CAN INDEED JOIN THE RANKS OF FELLOW MODERN FICTIONS ICONS NORA ROBERTS AND SANDRA BROWN WITH "THE ELEVENTH HOUR". A GREAT MIX OF SUSPENSE, MYSTERY AND ROMANCE ADDS UP TO ONE TERRIFIC NOVEL. I FOUND MYSELF TRYING TO TAKE MY TIME AND SAVOR EACH PAGE, BUT IT WAS NO USE. I COULD'NT PUT THIS ONE DOWN ! DIE HARD FANS SHOULD BE EASY TO COME BY FROM NOW ON FOR MS. ERICKSON. IF HER NEXT EFFORT IS EVEN ONLY HALF AS GOOD AS "ELEVENTH HOUR, IT SHOULD DISSAPPEAR FROM BOOK SHELVES IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE. OFF THE SHELVES.

As good as it gets

After twelve unhappy years of marriage, Jack Devlin is about to divorce his spouse when she is murdered. Jack is convicted of the crime and sentenced to death. As he waits on death row, he manages to escape. The only person, who believes that the evidence is too perfect is Jack's public defender, Eve Marchand. Jack asks Eve to help him prove his innocence and catch the real culprit. Though Eve knows she risks everything by aiding and abetting the convicted killer, her conscience does not allow her to ignore Jack's plight. The two of them begins to look into other viable suspects even as this places her life in danger from an individual who wants the Devlin conviction to remain unchanged. THE ELEVENTH HOUR is a fabulous romantic suspense that will leave fans of the sub-genre buzzing about the talented duo who comprises the Lynn Erickson team. The lead characters are charming as individuals and form a wondrous relationship. Counterpoint to the sizzling romance is a brilliant who-done-it that demonstrates that this pair consistently provides some of the best books on the market today. Harriet Klausner
