I brought this book 4 years ago and reference it often , mostly just before I go on vacation. Mr Todd covers a lot of different subjects.Landscapes ,Cityscapes , people , Impressiontic and abstracts. This collection of beautiful photos were taken in America and Europe . My personal favorites are the photos taken in Venice and Santorini. Mr Todd tells wonderful stories to go along with each of the photos. The places and people behind the motivations. There is one photo in the book called " Fuzzy Harbour " That is still one of my favorite photos of all time. For years it bothered me trying to figure out how he accomplished it. A few months ago I got up the nerve and wrote Mr Todd and flat out asked him.The next day , to my surprise , not only did he write and tell me but told me where it was likely to find the material for the shot. He went on to explain that he is now in his 80's and still working to get his next book published. He was very generous with his time and advice . God bless him ! One very useful part of the book is the last Chapter , " The Photography " , where he shows the original photos and the finished work after he cropped the images. Its is a wonderful work that I'm proud to have in my collection , even more so after talking with Mr Todd and finding that not only is he a talented artist but willing to spend his personal time to help someone else. I'm looking forward to seeing his next work available before to long. Best of Light !!! Michael J. Skelton

I enjoyed this book very much. Basically its 80 images with the photographer explaining the backstory and why he took the photo he did. Its a great way to understand composition and color matching.
