Book Review

This book provides a great overview of e-commerce, with case studies, and web links to aid in learning. A must have for anyone interested in developing an e-commerce strategy.

Buy this instead of the more expensive 2008 version

Bought this for a college course where the instructor wanted us to buy the super expensive 2008 version. Got this one dirt cheap and it's in brand new condition and has the SAME info and chapters as the 2008 version, just different page numbers. Use this version and save yourself a ton of money!

Electronic Commerce 2008

Electronic Commerce 2008 (Electronic Commerce) This book is good if you are doing a business degree like me. It is very detailed and contain relevant information. If anything, it is a little too detailed and could have been more concised.

Great variety, great content, timely and relevant

For a broad business overview of e-Business technology, this is one of the finest books on the market. The authors effectively present the rationale for electronic commerce, along with both the business and technology foundations. Highly accurate and well presented.

Electronic Commerce: A Managerial Perspective

I am a big fan of the tech books of E. Turban. His Decision Support Systems & Intelligent Systems was my first intro to his spin on tech topics. He and his co-authors have put together a really nice guide for management still in the "chin stroking" mode on what to do with E-Commerce. It is also a great textbook for undergrads/grads in a business school. Check out his table of contents--it hits all the bases to help management avoid the black holes and pot holes to make a smooth transition into the new economy. This book is a great place to start.
