So cute!

I love this sweet love story! I think that Arleta Richardson is a great Author, and I'm surprised these books arn't as popular as they should be. I love books that make you laugh, cry, and jump up and down. This book made me feel like doing all 3! I am definatly going to buy the remaining 3 in this series! Did I mention I started this book this morning and couldn't put it down untill it was over?

Previously titled "Eighteen and On Her Own"

Honestly, it's been a long time since I read this book, but I remember it being wholesome and humorous. I just wanted other potential buyers to be aware that this book was previously titled "Eighteen and On Her Own." I didn't discover this until I ordered it from a book store, paid for it and got it home. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time, considering I had also purchased some used, older copies of several Grandma's Attic books - including "Eighteen and On Her Own." So, now I have two of these books. The new one will make a great gift though. Also, the format of this particular book is a larger format than the other titles in the Grandma's Attic Series, and is printed with bigger, bolder type. I ordered three other brand new titles in this series, along with this one, and "A School of Her Own" is the only one that is the larger format. It measures 8.5" x 5.5" while the other three books measure about 7.5" x 5.25." Not a huge deal, but still nice to know before purchasing. I apologize for my lack of specifics on the actual content of this book. I was not able to post this info without also including a rating. Perhaps when we get around to reading it as a family, I will revise this review and include more detailed info regarding the content of the book.

Excellent for all ages

I read this book for the 1st time when I was 8 years old now I am quite a bit older yet I still own the set and occasionaly read it myself. It covers all the basics and the story's told crack me up. I do suggest this especially for girls but I am sure it can't be kept that confined it is an excellent book with good quality.
