This book is awesome. It teaches children how to be compassionate in caring for others, sharing things, and the joy of giving. This book put an end to arguments about sharing between my 3 and 4 year old. When they are not sharing, I just say, What would Edsel do? Compassion, sharing, caring, and giving is something that needs to be introduced at an early age, so it will come natural as they get older and enter into the real world.

Edsel the Elephant who learned to share was about an elephant who wanted to help someone or give someone something special, little did he know he was going to meet someone who much needed his help. I thought the book would be appropriate for 5 to 8 years old. I think every child would enjoy it because it shows Edsel sharing something special with an animal.
