The title of this book is ECHOS OF JOY. What is an echo? Webster's dictionary says it is "the repetition of a sound caused by reflection of sound waves." But it also says it can be "one who closely imitates or repeats another's words, ideas, or actions." This book will zero in on the second definition. If there is any one thing that is worthwhile to imitate and repeat, that's joy. It's a daily challenge living in today's world with crime, strained relationships, financial and health problems and the list goes on.
If we want joy to echo in our lives, we must throw it out to others. Then it will come back to us. There is no better way to have joy in our lives than to sacrifice our own pleasures and help someone else.
