Angelic Crusader Fights Big Oil Dream

Twenty-nine-year-old Catherine Wagner is part of the Wagner Oil family, the same Wagner Oil that is responsible for the largest oil spill in the history of the world. She's on the board of directors and is an ardent environmentalist, however her pleas before the board fall on deaf earsThirty-four-year old Miles Kitteridge is a banker, more specifically he works for the bank that has the Wagner Oil account. In fact he sits on their board as well. He has been smitten by Catherine for a long time, but she resists him. Not only because she's not ready, well maybe she is, but mostly because she is the Earth Angel, an environmentalist who strikes against Wagner Oil by night.Catherine's first foray as a caped crusader comes when she climbs the chain link fence that separates a Wagner facility from Highway 95 and hangs a huge sign for all the passersby to see, proclaiming that Wagner Oil has been dumping toxic waste into the town's drinking water. This of course upsets the board of directors and what Catherine calls her "greedy family" no end. However, as she continues her antics, Miles begins to suspect. Plus this duo seem to have a hard time keeping their hands off each other. So does he turn her in? Does Wagner Oil clean up it's act? Do Miles and Catherine become a couple? And whatever happens to the Earth Angel? So many intriguing questions. Questions that are easily answered if you find this terrific romance by Linda Cajio. Her characters are so lifelike, they seem like old friends. I highly recommend "Earth Angel". I loved it and I think you will too.
