The art is evocative of Milan, where Forster has lived for thirty years, and European art from the Greeks onwards. Baker has reflected in his prose-poems what Forster has done in her artwork, attempting to mirror its craft, skill and imaginative reach. The poems have been translated into Italian and the Italian text follows the English version.
