Eagles Cry Blood by Donald Zlotnik

While this intriguing look into the Vietnam war may be difficult reading for those who lost husbands, brothers, sons and friends in that conflict, the author crystalizes the valor and human spirit of these young soldiers. Were they all heroic? I don't know but would like to think so. Well worth the read.

Great Book for the Eye

Mr. Zlotnik writes with great passion and excellence. This book, along with several others I have read, is a great book for the eye. I've never been disappointed after reading his novels.

Eagles Cry Blood

Although I am not a fan of fiction book I got this e-mail for the author, and decided to try the book. I think Mr Zlotnik has done an outstanding job of depicting what it was like for many of our hero's that fought, and died for the wonderful country of ours. Being a Vietnam Veteran, myself I could identify with some of the actions. I rated the book five but thats because thats the highest the rating goes. I would rate the book at ten.

Well Done!

He's a warrior and shared the fear of combat with the rest of us.Just about every page of his novel shares something about the Vietnam experience with the reader from the smell of burnt jet fuel on a tarmac to the sounds and sights of the jungle. He introduces us to military politics at foxhole level and then shows us the extreme bonding between war buddies.Well Done Zlotnik!
