Eagle Globe Anchor and Cross I must admit I'm biased, being a Christian, and both knowing the author and serving as a Marine for more than 20 years. This is a very practical book about character. Marines learn early on the importance of character - integrity is something you never compromise. Rick addresses character from a Christian viewpoint and uses vignettes from his journey to help guide the reader. I really enjoyed the way he listed additional verses for reference on each topic he covered. I'd recommend this book for anyone, not just veterans. There might be a few words that 'non-Marines' will not recognize, but it will not take away from the many spiritual nuggets this book has to offer.

Eagle Globe Anchor and Cross Well-written, straightforward look at the Corps Values of the Marines and how they correlate with the Christian life. This career Marine uses the word of God to show how one can be a New Testament Christian and a great Marine. Semper Fi!
