Reading is my passion. I read well over 150 novels per year and am getting kind of picky. Therefore I was thrilled to find an author as entertaining and satisfying as Tom Morrow. For a first book, I was extremely impressed. The character development was exceptional. I felt like I was a friend of Dave's, the charming, endearing main character, whose naivete about the 'real world' was refresing. Another satisfying attraction to this book is that all loose ends are tied up, leaving the reader with closure. I highly recomment Mr. Morrow's book, Dust in the Wind.
Dust in the Wind - A Review

"Dust in the Wind" is a great read, which masterfully intertwines a number of conflicts that are played out by strong, memorable characters. Some of the major conflicts: 1) The journey of a teen-age boy as he struggles to become a young man. 2) The prejudices faced by the migrant working class. 3) The plight of a middle-aged, well educated guy who has limited his success in life and love through his stubborn efforts to maintain a "good-ole boy" status. 4) The wonders of love--the innocence and passion of first love contrasted by the dedication and devotion of a love that will last a lifetime. 5) The elements of nature as wheat farmers and harvesters battle to deliver their crop. Tom Morrow has something for everyone in "Dust in the Wind". It is a wonderful book for the young to envision what might be and for the experienced to reminisce about how it was!
