Janette Oke I would have given it 6 stars !

I live in a retirement home and read a copy of Drums of Change from our library. Someone had put a sticky note on it that said it was a very good book. Amen to that ! I ordered two copies sent to my grown daughters. They really liked it too. Funny thing. My great grandmother was either Cherokee or Blackfoot. The book mentioned a tribe that was a combination of the two. Thank you for good service and a good book and author. Sharon M.

missionary among the Indians

i borrowed this book a few years back and read it a dozen times in one year. i delayed returning it as long as i could and have ever since been looking for it, to buy it. thankfully i found it last year! it's so wonderful, romantic and adventurous. the lovely indian girl who is the heroine tries to resist finding Jesus with all her might, but both the missionary and another indian are in love with her. they both try very hard to lead her to the truth and protect her from danger in the wilderness. so tender and loving they both are towards her! i also loved the indian names, so smart and descriptive. i think one of Oke's best books ever!

Drums of change.

IT WAS THE CHRISTIAN FICTION TO READ WELL. IT WAS VERY GOOD FOR YOUNG ADULTS AND TEENAGERS.

loved it

I loved it didn't know if I would when I read the back but in the end I hated to see the end of the book arrive.

One of the best books you will ever read!

Janette Oke is my favorite author, and this is my favorite book. Running Fawn is a character that seems so real that by the end of the book, she felt like my best friend. I could feel everything she was going through. I wanted to cry when she was miserable at the school. No matter how many books I read, this will always be my favorite.

Beauty, Suspence, Romance, you'll laugh. you'll cry....

I absolutley adored this book! It was magnificently peiced together to form the most beautiful love story. If you read one book, make it this one!
