WOW

Okay, I have to say I really liked this book. I've been following the entire series and was slightly disappointed with the last book, One Silent Night. But after reading this book it looks like we are headed in a new direction. Which is good because the series was needing something new. We have new characters on bothsides, good and bad. I am excited to see these new versions of DH's. And it seems like one of our favorite charactes will be more involved in the series, Zarek. Yippy. Of coarse we still have Ash but he shares the spotlight with other major characters now and one of them seem to be Cratus. I enjoyed the story between Cratus and Delphine. It wasn't overly romantic. It was sweet and exciting. There was a lot of action in the book, which I also enjoyed. If you aren't familiar with the series, you can probably pick up this book and read it. The recaps aren't over-the-top. Just enough to keep you in the loop of what's going on. But I will say this is a MUST read to continue on. I am anxious to dicifer what's going with Jared and Jaden. Plus we are left with a WOW on the last page regarding Madoc that left me wanting the next book already. The series is headed in a new direction which seems to be very promising.

Dream Warrior

It tells the story of Cratus, AKA Jericho, who defied Zeus and earned thousands of years of torture and abuse for doing so. The son of Warcraft and Hate, he had been Zeus' right hand man until he looked into the eyes of a small baby girl and couldn't kill her. Flash forward through a few millenia of daily beatings, killings, and resurrections, Zeus is looking for Jericho to save their collective butts from an old enemy. Jericho being understandably reluctant to partake in the butt saving, Zeus resorts to dirty tricks, and sends Delphine to seduce him. Delphine is a Dream Hunter whose primary responsibility for almost her entire existence has been to protect humans from the Skoti who prey on them in their dreams. Despite her lack of experience with seduction, she manages to capture Jericho's attention, and completes her task, even if not as Zeus had originally intended. This book is crammed full of action as is Ms. Kenyon's usual, but there are a few surprises for Dark Hunter fans, with some fun cameos and new character introductions made. I loved this novel, I think she is building up to some great stuff and it is gonna be an awesome ride!

Dream Warrior

Cratus was a god and one of the guardians of Zeus. Then he spared a life he was supposed to take, so Zeus bound his powers and banished him. Six thousand years later, Cratus now goes by the name Jericho and his hatred for Zeus and the other gods who betrayed him has only grown. Delphine is a half-human Dream-Hunter. She has been sent by Zeus to convince Jericho to fight against Noir -- an evil god who has waged war against the gods and humans alike. Jericho only wants revenge against Zeus, so he takes Noir's side. Delphine is faced with a choice: seduce Jericho or kill him. If he regains his powers, he will have the ability to destroy the world. If she can convince him to fight with the good guys, he can save it. Jericho has waited six thousand years to exact his revenge, and it's in his grasp now. Delphine will have to be very convincing if she is going to change his mind. An army of good is forming against an army of evil. Jericho may once again have to choose his life or someone else's to save the world and the woman he loves. I love the way Sherrilyn Kenyon beats, batters, and tortures her heroes almost as much as I love how sexy she makes them. Their painful pasts make them the warriors they become. Kenyon's descriptive writing style is unparalleled. Delphine is a woman who's never really felt emotions and Jericho is filled with rage. Those dynamics, plus Delphine's innocence, make their relationship fiery and intense. Aside from her amazing storytelling ability, Kenyon is a big tease. Dream Warrior is full of sneak peaks of what's to come. After Acheron's, Nick's story is the Dark-Hunter I am most eager to read about. Dream Warrior is one of my favorite Dark-Hunter stories to date. It has a great romance, lots of excitement, and an intriguing storyline. Nannette Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

A Twist From the Others

See how Cratus learns how to trust Delphine, a Dream-Hunter, while trying to fight off multiple enemies. The Dream Hunters changed greatly from others books in what they do and who they are. You learn a big secret about why they were cursed by Zeus. Also, you learn that everyone gets even more connected with each other than before. This book changed my view even more of how the Dream Hunters and other people work. Like always I did not want it to end. Enjoy reading the book.

Dream Hunters!!! Lovin Them!!

I really enjoyed this this 4th dream- hunter series. Cratus and Delphine made a pretty cute couple. All I want to say about Zeus is that he was an arrogant jack-azz...lol and hopefully one of these days... Moving right along, Noir and his (sister/ friend/ lover and whatever else that was sick) Azura were the perfect evil pair! Im glad one they're funniest demon helpers Asmodeus decided to fight for the right side to help Cratus and Delphine save the world! He was a riot with his slick talking and not being hip to certain slangs..lol I've read some of the reviews and truthfully I dont see what wasn't to like about the story! It was a Fantastic Read to me! To all other readers ..dont be discouraged...use your own judgement, buy the book!
