If you like healthy and delicious meals, read this one. Fully compatible with most phases of the famous Atkins diet, this book learns you how to cook the good old-fashioned way: rich, healthy and easy recipies that you will just love. The Atkins diet is clearly a diet that not only works remarkably well for most individuals, certainly the obese, but it is also a gourmet diet. This book proves it and makes it easy and fun. I have seen really obese persons, myself included, lose over 100 pounds (!) easily and keeping it off: just by eating the right (low-carb)way. This book really helps with just that.Most receipies are easy to follow and prepare, some are of high-caliber gourmet cooks - and still full compatible with the life-time maintenance phase of the diet. Fran Gare, who contributed significantly to this book, wrote other excellent low-carb cookbooks as well. Overall, this is a very good book worth every penny.Gladly recommended!

The only book you really need.

My wife and I have used the Atkins Plan. I have lost 40 pounds, and she has lost 60 pounds (both in about 10 months). We looked at the original 'New Diet Revolution' book, and at this recipie book. We noticed that THIS book includes a section that describes the diet, so we bought THIS book over the other. This gave us BOTH the diet, and the cookbook simultaneously. It has been worth 100 times what it cost. I suggest that you can buy this book alone, and ignore the original. This diet is a lifestyle change--make sure you are willing to commit for at least two weeks to see impressive results. You wont be sorry. Best of luck to you all.
