45 Fine & Fanciful Hats to Knit

The book dosent have 45 hats in , but i love it. Could have been describen more each pattern , but its a great book with lovely colourse and patterns thats easy to understand. Zilboorg is magnificent with needles.

This is one of my very favorite knitting books! The colors and designs are gorgeous, the format is pleasing, and I just love to look at the pictures for color inspiration. I love this hat book above all the others I own. The shapes are really special--everything from a simple beret, to a domed tam-o-shanter, a pentagonal tam and a wild and silly eared model that is inspired by those goofy polar fleece ski hats.Anna Zilboorg loves the colors and patterns of Turkish knitting, where positive and negative shapes intermingle in an eye-teasing way. I have knit several of the hats from this book and absolutely LOVE them! Anna Zilboorg is a visionary designer...she ranks right up there with Elizabeth Zimmerman as a Knitting guru. You can't help but smile when you wear these hats..the pictures in the book don't begin to do them justice.
