With the help of her cousin Cosmo, Dorrie, the little witch, thwarts the scheme of Giblett the Enchanter on the opening day of the Witchville Museum. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The Dorrie books are all fantastic - one of the reasons I love them is that the house is messy, Dorrie is always wearing odd socks, and her mother, the big witch, is mostly distracted and focused on her work - but Dorrie doesn't seem to mind much, and her mother is often giving her a hug at the end. These books would also be good for single parent families, as Dorrie lives with her mum, her cat Gink, and Cook - there's no sign of dad. In this book, Dorrie, Gink and her cousin Cosmo become invisible and explore the Oddson-Ends Museum. There is also foiling an evil enchanter. The books are exciting, there are some jokes for the adults reading the books out loud, and the illustrations are nothing short of brilliant. These books need to be republished!
