Unwittingly involved with rogue CIA agents and a woman bent on revenge, Alex Seacourt finds himself involved in a plot that threatens the world with a new deadly form of an AIDS virus. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read the thriller and the grammar was fine. The story is exciting, with more twists and turns than a Clancy yarn. I love Alex Seacourt, Davis' hero with a heart. Alex is smart, intelligent and the next James Bond. With a movie in the works and possible stars such as Mark Wahlberg, Keanu Reeves and Brad Pitt in the mill--I'd give Doomsday Kiss two thumbs up!
Smashing Story!

I am an editor at a publishing house and I happened across this book at the urging of a friend. I read it and couldn't put it down. The characters are finely honed, and the intricate plot makes sense while at the same time jolting the reader and keeping him involved. The book could use some technical editing, but that doesn't detract from the highly imaginative story. My wife is a doctor, so I especially like the medical twists. This looks to be good movie material of "Independence Day" and "Die Hard" caliber. Dr. Davis, I am looking forward to reading "Plutonium Murders" and the other books listed on the dust cover, plus any more books you will write. You're on my short list for escapist/leisure reading.
Great book!

The characters were believable, the action was nonstop, and it drew me in like a good yarn should. I'd recommend Davis to anyone looking for a new suspense novelist. Bravo.

Couldn't put it down

Dr. Davis is a very talented writer that I proudly keep on my shelf next to my favorite books by Dean Koontz, Tom Clancy, and Mary Higgins Clark. I'm 200 pages into "The Doomsday Kiss' and I had to steal myself away from it to write this letter.
