Another Winner from Harlan Cob...David Rosenfelt

This isn't an Andy Carpenter book, so if you're looking for lots of laughs, stop right here. You won't find them. You will find a Harlan Cobenesque thriller, filled with the trademarks of Coben's most recent run of books. There's the familiar New Jersey settings, crimes of the past, secrets of friends, betrayals, and lots and lots and lots of plot twists. As a matter of fact, this book furthers my hunch that Coben and Rosenfelt are the same person! I highly recommend this page-turner of a thriller, and will eagerly read whatever 'Mr. Rosenfelt' writes next.

Another great read from David Rosenfelt

After reading First Degree years ago, I became addicted to the Andy Carpenter series. The great mix of sarcasm in his characters goes a long way for me. It isn't your typical lawyer-action series, there is more to his books. I was very excited when I saw Don't Tell a Soul was coming out, until I realized it wasn't part of the Andy Carpenter. I didn't think the new characters could live up to the old. This is where David stands out. The characters in the Don't Tell a Soul are all fresh and new characters. They don't follow the traits of those in the Carpenter series. It made me immediately forget about the Carpenter series and focus and learn the new characters. The book was fun, exciting, and really fit well with the elections coming up. Everything I thought I figured out what was happening, another wrench got thrown in. It wasn't a book that you could figure everything out early. If you like the Carpenter series, this is a must read. If you haven't read any of David ROsenfelt's material, give it a shot. It's not your typical novel.

I love this book

I usually prefer reading paperbacks but I had waited long enough for a new David Rosenfelt book so I bought "Don't Tell A Soul" in hard cover. At first I was afraid I'd miss Andy Carpenter but that wasn't the case. As soon as I picked this book up I was hooked. I love his characters, I love his stories, I love his dogs. I wish Mr. Rosenfelt would stop wasting time living his life and write more books for his fans.

I Am Going To Tell Everyone

I am going to tell everyone. This is another winner from David Rosenfelt, who is definitely one of my favorite authors. I just finished DON'T TELL A SOUL, which I unabashedly read and finished despite the laundry and unmade beds. I am still unwinding from the tension, and I liked the characters. This is Rosenfelt's first (I believe) book out of the Andy Carpenter series. Hopefully, though, the author will not be let off the hook from his loyal readers who are anxiously awaiting another adventure from Andy Carpenter and his lovable friends, both canine and human.
