Don't Jump to Conclusions Without a Bungee Cord: And Other Wise Advice

I actually purchased this book to give to my niece (who is currently excitedly learning about her Christian religion), but decided to read it first myself - and I'm really glad I did! Although "Don't Jump to Conclusions Without a Bungee Cord" was written specifically for teens, I think it also provides wonderful reminders for us adults as well. This book has a really great format! Each chapter is only 2 pages long, and includes a short "real-life" story where the learning can be applied, as well as a couple of thoughtful questions for the reader to answer on their own, an appropriate Bumper Sticker quote (which is usually funny too), a sentence of scripture, and a saying that again matches the learning of that particular story. Overall, I think this book is truly perfect for those teens (and adults) who are either learning & /or struggling with how to apply various bible lessons to real life. And 2 other major plusses are the humor used & the ease of which this book can be read.

This book is very funny and will get your teenager ready to talk about today's pressing issues. I suggest you read it with them. The bumper stickers are humorous. It doesn't take alot of time, so they stay focused.
